The Perfect Timeline to See Disneyland in a Day:
(This is the best timeline if you have kids with you and 2 responsible adults.)

Night Before - Buy tickets online or at the ticket booths.
8:30am - Arrive at Mickey and Friends Parking Structure
9:00am - Enter Disneyland Park

  • Adult 1 gather all tickets and head over to Space Mountain to get fast passes. Once you have your passes, set your alarm to the time on the ticket to remind yourself to go back at the right time.
  • Adult 2 take everyone else to Star Tours where Adult 1 will meet in line when they have the fast passes.
9:30am - Go on Peter Pan’s Flight
10:00am - Stay in Fantasyland. Pick a few of your favorite rides.
  • Hint: Alice in Wonderland is my favorite ride in Fantasyland, it is forgotten because it is around the corner.
10:30am - Go on Matterhorn Bobsleds
11:00am - Go to Pirate of the CaribbeankH11.
  • While in line, check the bottom of your fast pass. It will tell you when you can get another fastpass. When the time comes, gather all the tickets and send one adult to Indiana Jones to get fast passes for the whole party. Set your alarm to remind yourself to go back at the right time.
Noon - Grab lunch at Bangel BBQ. 2 skewers per person should be good enough.
  • Hint: To find a great place to eat, head around River Belle Terrace and sit next to Stage Door Cafe - which is also a great place for lunch.
12:30pm - Go on Haunted Mansion
1:30pm - Go on Thunder Mountain
2:00pm - Watch Mickey’s Magical Map.
  • Hint: Watch the show from the center about halfway back where there is a walkway.
3:00pm - Go on Small World
3:30pm - Watch the Parade
4:00pm - Head over to Toontown. Hit Mickey’s Go Coaster and meet a couple characters.
  • This is a great place to send the kids to play around in Goof’s Ship while you keep an eye on them and relax your feet by the fountain.
5:30pm - Go on Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters.
6:00pm - Grab dinner at Pizza Port in Tomorrowland.
6:45pm - Go on Autopia and Finding Nemo Submarine
8:00pm - Souvenir Shopping
8:30pm - Grab some ice cream and wait on the curb on Main St for Parade
9:00pm - Watch the Parade
9:30pm - Move the center of the street for fireworks.
10:00pm - Walk to Fantastmic
10:30pm - See Fantasmic
11:30pm - Take a picture in front of the castle (Use a flash)
11:45pm - Go on Splash Mountain

(You will notice that this is a very full day. Make sure that you don’t miss your fastpasses and if things get really tight, just pull out an attraction or a show.)

(This is the best timeline if you have kids with you and 2 responsible adults.)

Night Before - Buy tickets online or at the ticket booths.
8:30am - Arrive at Mickey and Friends Parking Structure
9:00am - Enter Park

  • Adult 1 gather all tickets and head over to Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: Breakout to get fast passes. Set your alarm to remind yourself to go back to go on the ride.
  • Adult 2 take the rest of the party to Radiator Springs Racers where adult 1 will meet them in line when they have the fast passes.
9:30am - Go on Radiator Springs Racers
10:00am - Go on Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree and Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters
11:00am - Go on Grizzly River Run.
  • While in this room, check the bottom of your fast pass. It will tell you when you can get another fastpass. It should be somewhere around 11. When the time comes, gather all the tickets and send one adult to Soarin’ to get fast passes for the whole party. Set your alarm to remind yourself to go on Soarin’.
Noon - Let the kids play in the kids play area.
1:00pm - Grab lunch. For a casual lunch, I suggest Corn Dog Castle, Award Wieners or the Cones in Radiator Spring is also great.)
1:30pm - Little Mermaid Ride
2:15pm - Goofy’s Fly School, Silly Symphonies Swings, and Golden Zepher.
3:15pm - Go on the Ferris Wheel.
4:15pm - Head over to Hollywood Backlot.
  • Ride Monsters Inc, see Frozen and do a couple of the activities in the Animation Room.
6:45pm - Enjoy dinner.
  • Hint: For a fancier dinner try Golden Vine Winery - have a reservation. For a more casual dinner. Eat at the Pacific Warf.
7:45pm -Visit Bugsland. Watch It’s Tough To Be A Bug.
  • Hint: This may be scary for little ones, so sit next to exit if you have timid little ones.
9:15pm - Go on Midway Mania 15 minutes into the first showing of World of Color
10:15pm - World of Color
